We had a great turnout for the Tiger Tailgate last night, and some wonderful performances to go with it. Thanks to everyone who came out and especially BTC Bank for their support of our community and programs.
Senior Night for XC and Soccer will take place against Iberia this evening. Kickoff is at 4:30! After the game head on over to the Trunk-or-Treat in the student parking lot.
Smithton's Got Talent is tomorrow night, Oct. 26th. Mic check for singers/call time for all performers- 5:00, Meal starts- 5:30 ($10 for dinner and show, soup/chili, drink, dessert) , Show starts- 6:00 ($5 for show only). We have many great acts, desserts, silent auction items, candy, and more. Come out and support the performing arts.

Mr. Schroeder's environmental science class had the opportunity to visit the Central Missouri Landfill and learn all about waste management! A big thank you to Central Missouri Landfill for having us out to see their operation!
Last night was the end to a great Volleyball season for our Lady Tigers. This group of gals has been pure entertainment this season. We hate to see it end, it was a blast to watch!

On November 11, 2024 at 9 am we will be holding our Veterans Assembly. We would love all Veterans and their family to join us for this event.
As part of our assembly we are creating a Wall of Honor featuring veterans related to students in our district. If you would like your veteran included in the Wall of Honor please fill out the form that was sent home with your student, or email Mrs. Gerke with the information and picture. All forms must be turned in by Wednesday, November 6th. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Gerke at gerkea@smithton.k12.mo.us.

Congratulations to our Tigers volleyball team for winning their opening round district matchup with Bunceton in straight sets! They will play Northwest in the district semifinals tonight at 7:00pm in Tipton!
🎓🚀Last week, our seniors participated in APPLY DAY- a day dedicated to helping them focus on their futures! They had time during the school day to knock out college applications, apply for scholarships, and work on their resumes. 💼📄
The results? Over 50 college applications submitted, countless scholarship apps started and plenty of future careers explored. The seniors are making big moves towards life after high school and we couldn't be prouder!
A huge thank you to State Fair Community College and rootEd Missouri for supporting our seniors (and keeping them fueled with pizza🍕)!
Here's to these seniors taking HUGE steps towards their future -- college, careers and everything in between!
