This past Wednesday, the physics and astronomy classes toured the Mizzou physics and astronomy labs! They also visited the Columbia planetarium located in Rock Bridge High School!




Our Varsity Baseball team opened the season with a jamboree at Liberty Stadium this afternoon. Looking forward to a great season.



Thank you to the 600+ supporters who came out to see our drama production group's two performances of "The Wizard of Oz." And thank you to the hardworking elementary and secondary students who put on one heck of a show.

On Thursday evening the Smithton A-Team took down the Cole Camp Blue Birds 240-160! Great job A-Team!


A big round of applause for the Smithton music department for their performances at the district music contest today! The Smithton Trio (Mariska Miller, Anna Kringle, and Tessa Bird) got an Exemplary score (1) and are State bound! Our vocal soloists (Anna Kringle, Zoey Thierfelder, and Corinthea Biggs) received an Outstanding (2) rating! PJ Sims (xylophone), Mariska Miller (flute), and Anna Kringle (trumpet) all received an Exemplary (1) rating and are State bound! Congrats to all!



Congratulations to senior Esther Brenich who was accepted as an apprentice with Nucor Technical Academy! Esther will be “earning while learning” as the Nucor Academy will pay her a wage while she is completing her education in the electrical field.


Smithton Drama Club presents The Wizard of Oz, the Musical tonight at 7pm and again tomorrow night at 7pm. $8 Admission at the door.
