Varsity volleyball was in action this evening in Cole Camp for pool play in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament!

The Kaysinger High School Art Contest was held on October 4th at Liberty Park in Sedalia. Sixteen Smithton students competed against 10 area high schools and did amazing! We won 3 of the 8 divisions and placed in two others!

Our Cross team made memories this weekend as they traveled to the Chile Pepper Cross County Festival in Arkansas. Thank you to our friends at Parkhurst for this amazing opportunity!




Last week Seniors had an opportunity to participate in Apply Days! Apply Missouri is an initiative that sets aside dedicated time during a seniors school day for them to work on college admissions applications and scholarships. A total of 27 seniors attended and approximately 46 college admissions applications were submitted and several more started. About 16 students started working on scholarships! It was a great success! Thank you to all that helped make this happen.





On Saturday, the Smithton High School Color Guard placed 1st in their class by 30 points at the Smith Cotton Invitational and finished 3rd overall in ALL classes! Drum Line had a big day as well with a 2nd place finish! Go Tigers!

Friday we celebrated our "pawsitive" office referrals for the month of September! These students were recognized for being Respectful Tigers! Way to go!


Smithton Drum Line had an excellent start to the Smith-Cotton Band Days! What an outstanding performance! Stay tuned for more to come! Good luck Tigers!








Our varsity Cross Country athletes are competing in the Chile Pepper Race in Arkansas. Looks like they found a former Tiger runner! Good luck tomorrow.

You just gotta love a small school! This morning the high school soccer team and coaches greeted our elementary students as they entered the building ! Lots of smiles and high fives to start our Friday!
