ABC Countdown April 30-May 3
Congratulations to the Smithton music students who performed at State Music Contest In Columbia! Everyone there earned their spot by getting an Exemplary rating at districts. Earning silver were Mariska Miller(flute solo), Anna Kringle(trumpet solo), and the vocal trio(Tessa Bird, Mariska Miller, and Anna Kringle). Matt Sims earned a gold medal for his xylophone solo. All of the students should be very proud of their efforts! We sure are!
Omegaman came to Smithton today! He taught our elementary students about following their dreams, being kind to others, and working hard! It was a blast!

The Kaysinger Middle School Music Contest was held at Smithton on Saturday. It was quite the display of talent from all of the participants. Every Smithton student that performed earned the highest rating of Exemplary!
