Smithton juniors and seniors were on the move this week! 🎓👟
First stop — a College Fair at UCM, where they got to chat with college reps and explore future options. Then we headed over to State Fair Community College for a campus tour!
It was a little warm out there, and we definitely got our steps in while soaking up some college knowledge. 😎☀️
We even had a special guest appearance from Mr. Hutchinson's mom who works at UCM!

🏗️ Smithton Students Building Their Futures! 🛠️
Our students rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty at the Build My Future Construction Showcase in Jefferson City! From operating equipment to trying new tools and trades, they put in some real sweat equity while learning about careers in construction, design, and skilled trades.
It was an awesome day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and discovering what it takes to build a great future! 💪👷♀️👷♂️

Yesterday, the Smithton FFA members who are attending the National FFA Convention in a few weeks received recognition, accompanied by a $1000 donation courtesy of Allison Asbury of BTC Bank as part of the BTC Youth Benefit Corp, supplemented by an additional $3800 donation from area farmers and businesses. This financial support will aid in offsetting the costs incurred by students to attend the national convention. We extend our gratitude for supporting our FFA members!

Soccer senior night and a Kaysinger Conference match up, the Tigers took on the Bulldog from Stover. JV comes away with a 5-0 victory, Varsity takes a loss in the second round of PK's, and JV takes the win 1-0.
