Reminder of the last B.U.I.LD. night!!!!

Congratulations to our new 2022-2023 Student Council President, Josie Bray and Vice President, Baxter Brown! An amazing team to enthusiastically lead our high school into an awesome new school year in August!

Smithton R-VI School was fortunate to be the recipient of donated books from the Toys 4 Tots Literacy Program and The UPS Store. These donated books will be part of a larger book giveaway to students before summer break. We appreciate The UPS Store in Sedalia!!!!

May Flowers! Are you separating bulbs and would like to give some away? 5th & 6th Grade Community Beautification Team would love to plant them around the school. Have you seen pretty flowers that would look great outside the school? Please drop them by and we will plant them! Our youth this week is working on Service Learning Projects and could use help from the community for mulch and flowers. Staci Harrison ( 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher & 5th/6th Science)is your contact! Our Lady Tigers soccer season came to an end this evening with a loss in a close district game to Knob Noster. Our ladies were 7-7 in their first season together. We are proud of you all and look forward to seeing you in action next year!




Congratulations to the 2022 Leon Moore scholarship winner, Audree Ross!! This is awarded to a single student from all area schools by the Rotary Club.
Smithton Girls Soccer opens their District tournament today at Knob Noster. The Lady Tigers will actually be taking on the tournament hosts starting at 5:30 pm. Come support the girls as they play in their first District game ever.

Smithton Baseball plays in the semifinals of their District Tournament today at Windsor. The boys take on top seed Windsor starting at 5:00. Come watch the boys as they look to reach the district Championship game.

Congratulations to these Smithton Athletes for qualifying for the State Track Meet. Murray Page will run in the 2 mile, Paige Bradley will compete in the Triple Jump, and Riley Bryan will run in the Mile and 2 Mile. Great job ladies.

The Class of 2022 graduation week festivities kicked off today with 26 of our Seniors participating in Baccalaureate. Thank you to our speakers, performers and special guests.


Great job on a first round win in the District Tournament over Montrose this afternoon in Windsor. Next game will be Monday at 5:00. Way to go Baseball Tigers!!
