Thanks to Mallory Kroeger and Kroeger Farms for providing the "victim" pig for our contest winners. Blake Williams raised the most money, Coach Kahrs was second, Mrs. Warren was third and Mr. Treece was 4th. All four of them kissed the pig during our assembly.

To finish out our Pink Week festivities the all school assembly saw our Color Guard Team, a Mr. Pink contest, a staff vs. student volleyball match, games for everyone and of course "kissing a pig." Thanks to everyone for participating, the FBLA for organizing the assembly and all of our great students and staff for donating nearly $2000 to benefit local cancer causes.

Soccer will be home at 5pm tonight, and JH Volleyball will be in Green Ridge at 6pm.

K-5 boys are invited to come and play with the High School Soccer team on Oct 17th from 3-5. Meet in the Cafeteria after school!

Congratulations to Ms Oehrke one of our fabulous kindergarten teachers for winning the "Smithton Sizzle Award". Megan is in her 10th year with Smithton Elementary School. She is a teacher leader working as a member of our professional development committee, a great example to our youngest students setting the stage for many of our future Tigers, and is a caring and dedicated professional. Thank you Megan for all you do.
