The Smithton volleyball teams had a great night in Windsor tonight. The JH teams fell short while the JV and Varsity teams won decisively.





Volleyball is in Windsor tonight with a 5:00 start.

Congratulations to our cross country teams as they perform well at the Kaysinger Conference Meet! HS girls win the conference and HS boys take second! JH boys also win the conference! Great job Tigers! We are proud of all of you!

5:30 PM Open Race - 1.5 miles; open to any and all runners

FFA feed a farmer is going on tonight at 5:30. Come to the AG Building.


JV and Varsity volleyball teams defeat the visiting Lincoln teams at Pink Night tonight. FBLA members raise money at the pink table and a great “pink” crowd shows up to cheer the team on to victory. Thanks to everyone for their support of our efforts to raise money for Cancer Perks and for Coen Brown and his battle.





Junior High volleyball takes it to 3 sets in a close match against Lincoln tonight. A great crowd showed up for the Pink Night festivities.




A huge thank you to the CSIP Team for the work put in to develop the district’s strategic plan for the next few years. Watch for ways to provide valuable input for improving the Smithton R-VI School District!





Soccer wins 4-2 in the Pink Out game against Lone Jack! Great game tonight!




Soccer will host Stover tonight at 5pm. The JH will start, followed by HS.

Smithton FFA had a great day at Farm Safety Day on Friday!
Thank you Done Broke Feed Yard, Schwartz Family, Pettis County Cattlemen's Association and all the organizations/companies that help present today. My students truly appreciated and enjoyed their day.
As an Ag Teacher I appreciate the time and effort it took putting this experience on for my students, the value added to my program is something the students will never get from a textbook!
We hope to see you all again next year!





It was a great turnout for our first BUILD Night of the year. (BUILD stands for Boosting Understanding In Literacy Development.) Babies through kindergarten aged children got to shop the book fair, check out books from our board book library and play with fun STEM activities.





Lady Tigers compete in the championship side of the conference tournament and finish 6th. Way to go Tigers!
