7th graders are investigating light travel with various materials such as 1-way mirrors, glass, and regular mirrors. They are looking for answers to this question about the 1-way mirror: Why can Mario see Yoshi and himself, but Yoshi can only see himself?

Do you like a great show? Do you like great food? Please attend Smithton's Got Talent and chili supper on Saturday, November 11. Dinner starts at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:00. Adults (dinner, drink, dessert and admission) are $10, students are $8, and kids under 5 are $5. Just admission is adults $5, kids $3, and kids under 5 free. We’ll also have a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. All proceeds go to support the music department.

It's that time again for Smithton to show off their talent! We need singers, dancers, musicians, dramatic and funny performances, magic, lip syncs, or just about any talent you have. To audition, see Mrs. Greene or Mrs. Bird for an audition form. Auditions are November 6. If performing isn't your thing, come to the show on November 11 at 6:00pm!

Saturday was an excellent day for our Cross Country Team! The boys and girls came to compete and ran away with PRs and medals! Tyler Wilson, Landon Eastep, Gabe Aitken, and Sam and Coby Tagtmeyer all ran off with medals! Congrats all!










PINK WEEK is THIS WEEK! All proceeds benefit our community through Cancer Perks which provides support to those fighting cancer including mowing their yard, wigs, paying for small bills, care bags, gas money to get to radiation appts, and more! Thank you for your support!
