Happy Halloween everyone! It was a great day for parties and parades at Smithton R-VI today. Thanks to everyone who made our day memorable.




Auditions for Smithton's Got Talent are Monday, November 6 at 3:15. You can get audition forms from Mrs. Bird or Mrs. Greene. Smithton has so much talent. There are more acts out there so please join us. The show is Saturday, November 11.

Our Fall Band and Choir Concert has moved days. It will now be November 6th at 7PM.
What great performances by the Smithton Drum Line and Color Guard at the UCM Festival of Champions! Color Guard earned 2nd place and Drum line came home with 3rd! Congrats to all!




Everyone ran hard today at Class 2 Cross Country districts. Congratulations to Gabe, Sam, Coby, and Emily on qualifying individually for state competition as well as our boys varsity team.

Our Fall Music Concert is right around the corner. Come out on November 2nd at 7 PM in the High School Gym for a great show.

It was a great way to end the regular season with senior night and an overtime victory. Thanks for all of the memories senior soccer and cross. Good luck moving forward into district play.










Come support the Smithton Senior Tigers for Cross Country and Soccer at the Soccer Game tonight at home vs Clinton. The game starts at 5pm! See you there!


Tickets are now on sale for the Fall Play dinner theatre! They cost $10 and to purchase contact either Mrs. Gerke or the high school office. Only 100 tickets will be sold! The fall play is Friday, November 3rd with dinner starting at 6pm and show at 7pm.

JH Soccer took the win against La Monte in soaked Kaysinger tournament. We will play in the championship game tomorrow at 5.




The volleyball season comes to an end tonight with a Class 1 District 5 Runner Up finish! What a great season it was! Way to make Smithton proud, ladies!




Volleyball will play for a District Championship tonight in Eugene at 6PM. Our Pep Bus will leave at 4PM. Make sure to sign up in the front office. Admission is $6.

Fall Festival is Saturday, November 4 from 10am-3pm at Smithton School Outdoor Track. We will have LOTS of activities from vendors for shopping to funnel cakes to bounce houses to police cars and fire trucks and LOTS of pumpkins! And of course our pie and chili cook off and cornhole tournament with lots of great prizes to win! Are you a vendor? Donate $10 to FBLA and have a booth for the festival! We hope to see everyone there!

It was a busy weekend for our Smithton athletes. Junior High Cross Country came to a close with the state championship meet. Congratulations Tyler for finishing as the 25th best runner in the state. The High School teams competed in Westphalia Saturday morning and the soccer team got another victory on the road Friday night in Iberia.







Halloween Dance on Saturday, October 21 for all students in grades 5-8 from 7 to 9pm in the elementary gym! $5 admission with a costume, $8 without! Haunted Hallway, Costume Contest, and Games! See You There...If You Dare!
