Students attended the Young Writer's Day at Central Methodist University on Wednesday with Mrs. Carver. Abbey Smith earned an Honorable Mention for her Poetry and Collage. Hayden Asbury earned an Honorable Mention for his Flash Fiction Story. Preston Brown's Flash Fiction was read aloud by one of the professors because she really enjoyed it. All students worked very hard and put their best efforts forward to represent Smithton well on an intensive writing day.
