If you haven't signed up for an audition time but want to be part of Smithton's Got Talent (3rd-12th grade), please come to auditions Monday, October 7th from 3:15-5:30. Please bring your permission slip. If you are not able to make auditions, please contact Mrs. Bird or Mr. DeWitt by Wednesday, October 9th.

A huge thank you to Central Bank and BTC Bank for their generous donations, which have helped establish a Dual Credit Textbook Library at Smithton High School! Now, students taking dual credit classes, where textbooks aren't included, can access the materials they need—removing a potential financial barrier and ensuring every student has the resources to succeed in their post-secondary education journey.

Don't forget that Smithton's Got Talent Auditions for grades 3-12 are on Monday, October 7th after school from 3:15-5:30. Please turn in your audition forms by this Friday to Mrs. Bird so contact can be made for a specific audition time. Smithton's Got Talent is on October 26th, meal starts at 5:30 with show starting at 6.

A meeting with Private/Parochial School Administrators in the Smithton R-VI School District will be held on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the office of the Smithton Director of Special Services, Smithton R-VI School District, 505 South Myrtle, Smithton, MO 65350. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the district’s responsibility to provide special education and related services and the method(s) of provision to students with disabilities attending private/parochial schools within the district’s jurisdiction. This meeting will also provide you the opportunity to express your views regarding special education services. If you have any questions regarding this meeting, please contact Courtenay Treece at 660-343-5316.

The Tigers soccer teams took on the Gremlins tonight at home. Both teams fought hard and the junior high came away with a tie.
