LEGAL NOTICE
The Smithton Board of Education has established filing dates for board vacancies. Three (3) members, each to serve a three-year term of office will be elected to the Board of Education on April 7, 2020. Individuals may declare their candidacy at the Superintendent’s office, 505 S. Myrtle Ave, Smithton, MO 65350, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on December 17, 2019 and ending on January 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. with the following person: Mary Kaiser, Secretary Board of Education, Smithton R-VI School District, 660-343-5316 Ext.102
The Smithton Lady Tigers are back in action tonight in Tipton for their second round game of the Tipton Tournament. Starting at 9:00 pm they will play Jamestown. Come support the girls.

Smithton boys win their first round game of the Tipton tournament 68-32 vs La Monte. They advance to the semifinals on Thursday when they will play at 7:30.

Smithton hosts Pilot Grove for 2 Varsity basketball games tonight starting at 6:00 pm. The Lady Tigers will play first followed by the varsity boys. Come support the teams.

Smithton High School winter sports pictures will be tomorrow (Tuesday) @ 3:00 pm. This is only for HS girls and boys basketball and cheerleading. Junior High pictures will be in December. All athletes should bring appropriate uniforms and picture packets to school.
