For those interested in going to the State XC Championships this Saturday in Columbia and supporting our Smithton athletes you will need to purchase your tickets online at www.mshsaa.org. You then click on the blue ticket to the right of the screen and follow the prompts for Class 1 Races. There will not be any cash sales on the day of the race. The boys race begins at 9:00, the girls race at 9:45. Award ceremonies will follow.

Smithton Hosts District Soccer Semifinal games tonight starting at 5:30. First match will be Smithton vs Green Ridge. The second match will be Knob Noster vs Lone Jack. Admission is $5 for all patrons above the age of 5. This is a MSHSAA event so no passes accepted.

Great fun was had at the monthly assembly for Smithton Elementary. Everyone got in on the action with pumpkin bowling!
