The High School Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will play tonight at Sacred Heart starting at @5:00 pm. Go tigers! 🐅

Students in grades 7–12 will be participating in Mental Health Awareness Dress-Up Week from February 17–20! This week is all about promoting positivity, reducing stigma, and reminding our students that mental health matters just as much as physical health.
We encourage everyone to join in, show their support, and help spread kindness.
Together, we can create a culture where it’s okay to talk about mental health and where everyone feels supported and valued.
Let’s make it a great week!

Smithton Board of Education votes 7-0 to approve Long Range Facility Plan and Proposition T.I.G.E.R. Together Investing in Growth, Environments and Resources
A huge thank you to the Long Range Facility Planning Team for their dedication over the last several months. The team of community members, staff and board members met to evaluate the campus from top to bottom. They then created categories and project lists for campus improvements. The entire plan they developed can be found on our website following this link.
The top priority projects were designated as “Priority 1” and determined to need immediate attention. These were primarily Exterior Projects and help to alleviate some of the safety concerns noted during the evaluation:
In order to fund these projects the board voted unanimously to place an election on the April 7, 2026 ballot. Voters in the district will have the opportunity to approve a $0.45 increase to the total levy for the school district.
The plan would include modifications to Coombs St. as opposed to previous plans that included taking over the street.
Please share this information with others and plan to vote on April 7, 2026.
