The Smithton Track Team and loyal supporters braved hurricanes and at least 3 different seasons last night at the highly competitive Higginsville Track Meet
They were hot, they were wet, they were cold and at one time it was sleeting, but, overall they were awesome.
There were scores of personal bests including Preston Brown in the Triple Jump, Sam Tagtmeyer in the 400, Grant Amos in the 200, Emily Trelow in the Mile, Connor Petersen in the Triple Jump and more!
The STD especially dominated.
Murray Page medaled in the 2-Mile,
Riley Bryan won Silver in the Mile and Gold in the 2-Mile and
our own GABE AITKEN won GOLD in both the Mile and the 2-Mile
Please congratulate these excellent student athletes for representing our Tiger Toughness in the harsh midwestern elements!
