Our first Cross Country practice went off great! The moon was out, the runners were glowing and everyone had a great time! Thank you all that came out and made this possible!




Junior High Volleyball will have their first practice August 17th from 4:30-6. Let's make the season a great one!

Cross Country's offical practice starts August 8th! We will meet week days at 6:30am - 8am at the track. Our first practice on August 8th will be our Glow Run so practice will be at 12:01am to kick off the running season! Check the Cross Country classroom for more detail.

The varsity volleyball team worked on skills all week and then hosted young Smithton players in grades 3 through 8. Way to build the program Tigers!

Check our our dedicated library staff at the Missouri Association of School Librarians Professional Development Day at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia. Summer is a time when school staff advance their education through both professional development and coursework toward advance degrees.

If you have ever thought about being a substitute teacher, now is the time. The Smithton R-VI School District is offering opportunities for interested citizens to get the training needed to be a substitute earning up to $125 a day. Check out the attached flyers for details.


Student Council had a great kayaking trip this week. Lots of great scenery, good bonding, and lousy fishing.
