
A Big Congratulations goes out to Lewis Page and his family as he signed his letter of intent to play soccer at Cornell College today. Lewis has been a great role model and player here at Smithton, and we are sure he will be the same for Cornell.

Smithton community, if you are planning on going to Track Sectionals this Saturday in Monroe City you must purchase your tickets online. You go to MSHSAA.org and click on the blue ticket, then select Track, then Class 2, then Monroe City.

The Smithton High School Athletic Banquet is this Friday starting at 6:00 pm. We will be served a meal by the Smithton Booster club, followed by awards and presentations by our High School coaches.

Smithton Softball travels to Lincoln for their opening round game of the District tournament. The Lady Tigers will play Green Ridge for a spot in Wednesdays semifinals. The game will start at 4:00, so come support the girls.

Smithton softball had their season come to and end today with their loss in districts. The girls played with class all season and should hold their heads high. Thank you to our two seniors Audree and Maggie for your hard work and leadership over the years

What a beautiful day for a track meet. There were some disappointed participants but also several that qualified for sectionals. Overall Smithton should be proud of how we were represented. Even had a MSHSAA official comment on how respectful our students were. #R6Pride





Don't forget to come out and enjoy the sounds of the Elementary music program in the HS gym! Monday May 9th grades K-3 will start at 6pm and grades 4-6 will begin at 7pm. Students please arrive 15 minutes early and report to the Elementary gym.

The softball district game scheduled to be played in Lincoln tonight has been postponed until Monday. The Lady Tigers will still play in Lincoln at 4 o’clock on Monday.

It was a wet and muddy night for our Lady Tigers against a tough opponent, St. Paul Lutheran. Don’t forget to come out tomorrow at 5 PM against Fatima when we celebrate our seniors!
