Our Junior High Track and Field athletes had an epic day at the Middle School State Championships in Bolivar Saturday. Many athletes in the top 8 for their event with Gold Medals for two.

ABC Countdown April 30-May 3
Congratulations to the Smithton music students who performed at State Music Contest In Columbia! Everyone there earned their spot by getting an Exemplary rating at districts. Earning silver were Mariska Miller(flute solo), Anna Kringle(trumpet solo), and the vocal trio(Tessa Bird, Mariska Miller, and Anna Kringle). Matt Sims earned a gold medal for his xylophone solo. All of the students should be very proud of their efforts! We sure are!
Omegaman came to Smithton today! He taught our elementary students about following their dreams, being kind to others, and working hard! It was a blast!
