The Smithton R-VI School Community would like to express our deepest regrets to the Henry County R-I School Community in Windsor Missouri and the entire Ireland family for the loss of Mr. Scott Ireland. The superintendent of the Henry County R-I Schools and fellow Kaysinger Conference district leader will be greatly missed.

Two Smithton Basketball teams travel to Lincoln for games tonight. The Junior High Girls will start the evening at 5:30 pm, as they look to get their second win in as many nights. The Junior Varsity Boys will follow right after. Come support the teams.

Schedule change for tonight: Due to number of players available, Otterville will be unable to play JV tonight. JH Girls will still start the evening @ 5:00 vs Green Ridge, followed by Varsity boys vs Otterville. Again, NO JV game tonight.

Schedule Update for Thursday (1-27-22): JH Girls will still play @ Lincoln starting at 5:30 pm. They will now be followed by the JV boys team vs Lincoln JV. This is an added game for boys JV. No change to Girls JH basketball.

The High School Basketball games scheduled to be played at Sacred Heart tomorrow night (Tuesday) have been postponed. If and when a makeup date has been agreed upon it will be announced here.

Smithton JH girls traveled to Sacred Heart tonight and lost a close game to their conference opponent. Great effort by the girls who were short handed.


Wednesday (1-26-22) Schedule update: Girls JH game vs Green Ridge will now start at 5:00 pm. The boys HS JV team will play 2 quarters vs Otterville right after. Then the boys Varsity will take on Otterville to end the evening.

Smithton Archery had a productive day on Saturday at Warsaw bringing home the 1st place HS Bullseye and HS 3D plaques.
Medaling in the Boys Bullseye in their divisions was Aden Criner-2nd, Jaydon Keller-3rd, Buzz Harris- 4th and Layton Criner- 4th.
Medaling in the Girls Bullseye in their division was Cassidy Huddleston -1st, Madison Lemens-4th. Making it onto the top 10 leaderboard was also Katie Staus, Zoey Thierfelder, and Liz Lightcap.
Medaling in the Boys 3D in their divisions was Buzz Harris-2nd, Aden Criner-4th, Laton Criner-4th. Making it onto the top 10 leaderboard was also Jaydon Keller and Kole Kenyon
Medaling in the Girls 3D in their divisions was Cassidy Huddleston-1st, Madison Lemens-2nd, Katie Staus-3rd. Making it onto the top 10 leaderboard was also Zoey Thierfelder, Ryleah Kennebeck and Khloe Burr
