We are proud to have been able to offer a traditional learning model during the 2021-22 school year.  Our goal as always is to remain in our traditional learning model, while doing our best to maintain educational contact with those students impacted.  It continues to be important that we keep our community informed regarding health and just as important that our community share information with us.  Therefore we ask that families review our health screening tool prior to each school day in order to determine whether or not to attend school for the day.   The tool has been modified to reflect the most prominent initial symptoms of COVID-19.   Our greatest opportunity to have a complete and healthy school year is to have everyone stay at home when they are experiencing new, unexplained symptoms.   This "News"  feature will be updated on a regular bases and will remain to be the most up to date information on positive cases, recovered cases and quarantines in the Smithton R-VI School District.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation with our safety measures and for completing the home screening each day.  Remember that the home health screening contains no identifiable information and only allows us to view symptoms in our school community as a whole, which we can then compare to attendance records to get the most accurate profile of the health within our school community.  As always, contact the building offices during an absence so that they can update our attendance records.

Welcome back to our 2021-22 School Year!
